Last updated: April 6, 2026

TrekJoin is operated by PM MEDIA, s. r. o., a company incorporated under the laws of the Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

Registered office: Varšavská 715/36, Vinohrady, 120 00 Praha 2, Czech Republic. Company ID (IČO): 28857755.

“TrekJoin” refers to the online platform available at www.trekjoin.com and related services and applications operated by the Operator.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of TrekJoin, including its website, user accounts, content features, itinerary tools, community features, paid features, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using TrekJoin, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. Purpose of the Service

TrekJoin is a platform focused on travel, route planning, travel inspiration, user-generated content, and related community interaction. The Service is intended to help users discover places, create itineraries, share experiences, and engage with travel-related content in a lawful and respectful manner.

2. Eligibility and User Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of TrekJoin complies with applicable law and these Terms. You must provide accurate information where required and keep your account credentials secure.

You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account unless you promptly notify TrekJoin of unauthorized access or another security issue.

3. User Content

You may be able to upload, publish, submit, store, display, or otherwise make available content through the Service, including profile information, text, comments, reviews, photos, itineraries, route data, links, and other materials (collectively, “User Content”).

You remain responsible for your User Content. By making User Content available through TrekJoin, you represent that you have the rights, permissions, and legal basis necessary to do so.

You must not upload or publish User Content that infringes the rights of others, violates applicable law, or breaches these Terms or the Community Guidelines.

4. Prohibited Content and Prohibited Services

Users must not publish, upload, share, promote, offer, distribute, or otherwise make available through TrekJoin any content or services that violate these Terms, applicable law, or the legitimate interests of TrekJoin, its users, or its business partners.

Prohibited content and prohibited services include in particular:

  • pornographic, erotic, sexually explicit, or otherwise sexualized content, including photographs, videos, illustrations, texts, links, profile descriptions, comments, or other materials intended for sexual gratification or sexual stimulation,
  • the offering, promotion, or facilitation of sexual services, escort services, paid meetings with a sexual context, or similar services,
  • content depicting, promoting, or suggesting sexual exploitation, coercion, blackmail, voyeurism, non-consensual intimate material, or content published without the consent of the affected person,
  • any sexual or sexualized content involving minors or persons appearing to be minors,
  • content intended to circumvent these rules, including links to external websites, contact details, coded offers, or any indirect promotion of prohibited content or services.

This prohibition applies to public content as well as to content shared through user profiles, itineraries, galleries, comments, messages, links, external profiles, offers, descriptions, and all other parts of the Service.

5. Measures in Case of Suspected Violation

If TrekJoin receives a notice about a possible violation of these Terms, or identifies a possible violation through its own review, TrekJoin may, without prior notice, take proportionate measures in order to review the matter and protect the Service, other users, business partners, and TrekJoin’s legal obligations.

Such measures may include in particular:

  • temporary hiding, blocking, or restricting access to specific content while it is being reviewed,
  • restriction of selected account features,
  • temporary suspension of monetization, payouts, or other privileges,
  • creation of an internal incident record, including materials necessary for the assessment.

Temporary blocking of content for review purposes does not by itself constitute a final decision that these Terms have been violated.

6. Decision After Review

After reviewing reported or internally detected content, TrekJoin may in particular:

  • restore access to the content if no violation is found,
  • remove content that violates these Terms,
  • issue a warning to the user,
  • temporarily restrict or suspend the account,
  • permanently terminate or block the account,
  • remove access to monetization or other paid features,
  • take other proportionate technical and organizational measures to prevent repeated violations.

When making a decision, TrekJoin may consider in particular the nature of the violation, its seriousness, repetition, obviousness, risk to other users, TrekJoin’s legal obligations, and the protection of payment, hosting, and other business partners.

7. Serious Violations

TrekJoin may, without prior notice, immediately suspend or permanently terminate a user account in particular where:

  • the user offers, promotes, or facilitates sexual services,
  • the matter involves minors, abuse, coercion, threats, or other serious unlawful conduct,
  • the user repeatedly or intentionally violates the platform rules,
  • the user attempts to circumvent a previous restriction or ban by using another account,
  • continued operation of the account may create legal, safety, reputational, or payment-related risk for TrekJoin.

8. Reports, Internal Records, and Preservation of Materials

For the purposes of assessing violations, enforcing these Terms, protecting the rights of TrekJoin and other users, and complying with legal obligations, TrekJoin may:

  • receive notices from users and third parties,
  • create internal reports and incident records,
  • preserve materials related to reported content, including technical data, time records, account identifiers, URLs, screenshots, text content, and related communications,
  • disclose necessary information to service providers, legal advisers, or public authorities where required to protect rights or comply with legal obligations.

9. Notice to the User and Right to Appeal

If TrekJoin decides to remove content, limit its visibility, suspend monetization, restrict an account, or terminate an account on the basis of a violation of these Terms, TrekJoin will provide the affected user with an appropriate statement of reasons, unless prevented from doing so by law, the protection of third parties, abuse prevention, or an ongoing investigation.

The user may appeal such a decision using the contact form or email address published on TrekJoin. TrekJoin will review the appeal within a reasonable period and will not decide solely by automated means.

10. Repeated Violations and Abuse of Reporting

TrekJoin reserves the right to escalate enforcement measures against users who repeatedly violate these rules, including temporary or permanent account restrictions.

TrekJoin also reserves the right to restrict or disregard notices that are manifestly abusive, harassing, repeatedly unfounded, or otherwise submitted in bad faith.

11. Paid Features and Monetization

Certain features of TrekJoin may be paid, subscription-based, or otherwise subject to separate commercial terms. If you use paid features, creator tools, monetization functions, subscriptions, or payouts, you may also be subject to additional terms, policies, or verification requirements.

TrekJoin may suspend or restrict access to paid features, monetization, or payouts where necessary to review compliance, prevent abuse, protect users, or satisfy the requirements of payment providers and other partners.

12. Suspension and Termination

TrekJoin may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service, in whole or in part, where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or third parties, prevent abuse, comply with law, or protect the integrity and reputation of the Service.

Termination or suspension may affect access to content, account data, monetization, subscriptions, and other features. Where appropriate, TrekJoin may retain relevant records for legal, security, or compliance purposes.

13. Disclaimer

TrekJoin provides a travel-related platform and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, or suitability of user-generated content, external links, recommendations, routes, or third-party information. Users should exercise their own judgment and caution when relying on information obtained through the Service.

14. Changes to These Terms

TrekJoin may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will become effective when published on the website, unless stated otherwise.

15. Language Versions

These Terms may be made available in multiple language versions. Non-English versions may be created in whole or in part by automated translation for user convenience. In the event of any conflict, ambiguity, or difference in meaning between language versions, the English version shall prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law.
