TrekJoin is a platform focused on travel, route planning, travel inspiration, user experiences, and related community content. Every user must use the Service respectfully, safely, and consistently with the purpose of the platform.
These Community Guidelines explain what kind of conduct and content is not allowed on TrekJoin. They apply across the Service, including user profiles, itineraries, route points, photos, comments, messages, descriptions, links, and monetized content.
TrekJoin is intended for travel-related use. Users should contribute content that is relevant to travel, places, routes, experiences, recommendations, planning, or related community participation.
Content that substantially misuses the platform for unrelated, deceptive, exploitative, or abusive purposes may be removed.
The following is not allowed on TrekJoin:
Users must respect the privacy, dignity, and personal safety of others. You must not publish content that exposes, humiliates, threatens, exploits, or harasses another person.
You must not share intimate, private, or identifying materials about another person without an appropriate legal basis and, where relevant, that person’s consent.
Users should participate in good faith. This includes using reporting tools honestly, avoiding abuse of support or moderation channels, and not attempting to manipulate enforcement systems through false, malicious, or repeated bad-faith reports.
If TrekJoin receives a report or independently identifies a possible violation of these Community Guidelines, TrekJoin may temporarily hide or block the relevant content while it is being reviewed.
If a violation is confirmed, the content may be removed and additional measures may be taken against the relevant account, including a warning, temporary restriction, suspension, removal of monetization access, or permanent ban.
Where appropriate, TrekJoin may also create an internal incident record and preserve relevant materials for safety, legal, and compliance purposes.
If a user disagrees with a decision to remove content or restrict an account, the user may request a review through the contact email address or form published on TrekJoin.
TrekJoin will review the matter within a reasonable period and will not decide solely by automated means.
These Community Guidelines may be available in multiple languages. Non-English versions may be created by automated translation for convenience. In the event of any conflict or ambiguity, the English version shall prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law.
