TrekJoin allows users and other persons to report content that may be illegal or inconsistent with the Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
This policy explains how TrekJoin may handle reports, review content, apply moderation measures, and process appeals.
Users and other persons may report content or conduct that they believe violates applicable law, the Terms of Service, or the Community Guidelines.
Reports should be submitted in good faith and should contain sufficiently clear information to allow TrekJoin to understand the concern and identify the relevant content or account.
After receiving a report, or after internally identifying a possible violation, TrekJoin may temporarily hide or block content for review purposes.
This temporary restriction is intended to protect users, the Service, and TrekJoin’s legal and business obligations while the matter is assessed. Temporary blocking does not by itself mean that a final violation has been confirmed.
During review, TrekJoin may evaluate the reported content, related account information, relevant technical data, available context, previous enforcement history, and any other materials reasonably necessary to assess the matter.
TrekJoin may also request additional information where appropriate.
If a violation is not confirmed, TrekJoin may restore the content.
If a violation is confirmed, TrekJoin may take one or more of the following measures:
In serious cases, TrekJoin may take immediate stronger action, including account suspension or permanent blocking. This may apply in particular where the matter involves sexual services, severe exploitation, minors, coercion, threats, repeated intentional violations, or other serious unlawful conduct.
TrekJoin may create internal incident records regarding reports, investigations, moderation actions, and related communications. TrekJoin may also preserve relevant screenshots, URLs, identifiers, technical logs, and other materials necessary for safety, legal, compliance, and abuse-prevention purposes.
If TrekJoin makes a decision affecting content or an account, TrekJoin will provide the affected user with an appropriate statement of reasons, unless prevented from doing so by law, the protection of third parties, abuse prevention, or an ongoing investigation.
The user may appeal a moderation decision within 6 months from the date of notification of that decision by using the contact email address or form published on TrekJoin.
TrekJoin will review the appeal within a reasonable period by human review and not solely by automated means.
TrekJoin reserves the right to restrict manifestly abusive, harassing, or repeatedly unfounded reports and appeals.
This policy may be available in multiple languages. Non-English versions may be created by automated translation. In the event of any conflict or ambiguity, the English version shall prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law.
